And the winners are...

Hosted by Recruit 121 Group with primary sponsor EY, Fintech Awards South West took place on Thursday 6 July at the impressive Aerospace Bristol, where guests mingled in the Concorde Gallery under the wings of the supersonic passenger jet.

Shortlisted companies for this year’s first-ever Awards were selected by a panel of expert judges - Joanne Dewar, a recognised leader and influencer in the payments industry, experienced technologist Mark Walker, technology engineering expert Gillian Lamela and Anita Kimber, a leading FinTech strategist - who reviewed entries from a wide range of fintech companies across the region.

Matt Hyde, managing director at FinTech Awards South West, said: “Just like the iconic Concorde, the South West is soaring to new heights in FinTech innovation. This first-class region is a hotbed of creativity, collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit.
